I finished the Sakura embroidery and made together with a piece of grey felt a little bag of it. That bag will travel soon from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostella with a friend of me on her walking adventure. I hope she can collect little treasures in it on the way to.The little buttons are Tagua nuts I brought from Perú. Let's see if they reach Santiago :)
Hi Kathy! It was great to meet you last night. I LOVE the embroidery :-). I am now a follower of your beautiful-looking and inspirational blog. Good luck with your illustrations! x
This is beautiful! Including the detail on the first photo! I love how the same motif looks on different materials. I want to try something like that with my motifs, too, for a long time already. Embroidery, sewing, crocheting, knitting - all women in my family are/were masters but me. :(
These days I'm living in my homecountry, Belgium, with my head in the Peruvian Andes, close to my lovely man and little cat Dalí. I love to draw when it's raining while I'm baking some Irish bread or an English applecrumble...The world in my heart in everything I do!
Thank you for visiting my blog, inspiring me and leaving some feedback...always welcome! **************************** Gracias por tu visita, para compartir inspiración y una vision critical...bienvenidos!!!
