Flying / Volar


Days are getting darker, leaves are flying and also these seeds of the Sycamore Maple-tree...they inspired me to draw this little girl that will iluminate our dark evenings.

Lovely illo, I like her pose and the colours you have used go well with the heavy black of the lines.

Of course, the funniest thing about this is the way that sycamore seeds fly through the air -- by rapidly spinning around like a propellor! I hope she's still as serene by the time she gets to her destination after flying in that fashion the whole way! ;)
