While preparing a delicious Tiramisu for tomorrow evening...I felt myself such a mess, but in a good sense. Forgetting for a while the whole world and just totally concentrated on my bowl with eggs and sugar, rrr, I love playing in the kitchen!

Nowadays it's a little bit warmer then last week...and I'm missing it already to have those freezing fingers. Not that I like that so muuuch but more because I discovered Tilda's World by Tone Finnanger! I'm crazy of that world! Never heard of her but she has just some amazing designs for heats and other winter-stuff and many more! This drawing is a kind of tribute to my discovery of Mrs. Finnanger! Since a week I'm suffering of a sleepy hand...and since some days also a part of my body is in sleepy motion....but everything will stabilize promised my doctor...anyway, never again I want this feeling again and still 'lucky' I am it's my left side that's suffering.

HE is in town! / EL ha llegado!

HE : The holy men who brings his annual visit to all the childrens in town. Nope, it's not Santa! We call him 'Sinterklaas'. That's a bigger tradition in these regions then Santa. In the night from 5 to 6 december he will walk on top of the city and villages, on his white hourse and his helping friend 'Zwarte Piet', an afro-type who will put the bad childs into his bag and take them with him to Spain where they come from. A typical tradition in Belgium and The Netherlands...and we are ready for it...although we aren't 6 years old anymore. Don't forget your shoe, some sugar for the horse, a carrot and your most beautiful letter with all your wishes for this year! Good luck and sweet dreams, ...♥

My Piano

Today I was reading a magazine about movies and television...and since many years I didn't watched anymore 'The Piano' written by Jane Campion. In that magazine they were telling about her new movie that will be out soon...and I had to think back how much I loved this movie, yes I'm just such a dreamer and romantic soul, uuuups. The story is one thing, the music another thing but the dresses are 'everything'! How I would love it to wear one like that...and so I drawed this one :) ...'my Piano'!

Very typical for the peoples in this country is talking about 'the weather'. It is the start of 99% of all the conversations. If its sunny it is mostly too hot, if it rains then it is too wet, too cold...soooo today our sun returned again after so many rain, wind and storm. The weathergirl 'designes' our day!!!
