A little show with new things

Once again I participated in a little show, close to the village where we live...
I brought my new things, the notebooks and rand new gato-brooches with me, prints, buttons, magnets and postcards. Enough to show some beauty. Of course La famille Victor went with me to the little fair
and they enchanted every visitor with their stunning looks.
It was a very nice sunday and I guess I have to go on with my drawings after all those nice comments of the visitors today...they want MORE :)

Dank je Martine en Lennie voor de organisatie en het enthousiasme op Mix&Match!

Sewing saturday

FEEST! La famille Victor is sinds vandaag ONLINE!
We zijn heel fier! De boekjes kan je daar stuk voor stuk bewonderen en tevens vind je er een lijst terug van al onze verkooppunten.
Ontdek die bijzondere familie en haar patroontjes!
En steek die naaimachine maar in gang!

Time to party. La famille Victor went ONLINE today!
We are so proud, the books with patterns can be purchased but also you can find there all the shops (in Belgium) where you can even watch and buy them! The english version will come up later. So meanwhile, start learning a bit of dutch and discover that special family.

After the stampmaking I'm getting totally in the mood to create new things, nice things...
things that make me smiling.
After drawing months sewing materials, clothes and all kind of sewing related needs I couldn't resist to leave my sewing machine packed. So I went buying really nice fabrics and made a pen pocket...just for myself ;)
I'm so happy with it and sure, full of sewing errors but that cannot take my happiness away!
love weekends like this!

Stamplove

Made a little stamp to make my mark on sold books from La famille Victor.
May'be a cup of tea would make the teapot still happier? :)
For Dalí it doesn't matter, with or without teacup as long as I'm close.

and I refreshed my website a bit...soon have to make work from pages full of drawings and nice things on it!

La famille Victor

In september I started to draw for a very new project.
It's all about one family, the family Victor or La famille Victor.
All the stories about them are coming together in little books and every story is conected to a sewing pattern. So you could call it a sewing-soap :)
I was asked by the family to be their illustrator and of course I hadn't to think twice about this question ;)
There is the family and of course WE who bring them all to life!
Isabelle Finet ( creator of the family), Katrien Annys (graphic designer and creative owner of Jacques Books) and I.
Half january the website will be launched and after that the books will be start to travel to the shops all over!
We are ready to release our treasures!
You are very welcome to follow our last steps to the final release on our Facebook page / LA FAMILLE VICTOR.

Cross your fingers!
We are ready to jump!
