Brooches x 3
If someone thought that I was sleeping? :)
I have so much work to do, finishing this year in the museum with the lay-out of the ABC-book, remember? and later more;), closing the last classes in the academy of this year with nice christmas-party's, putting my tree, thinking of making my christmas cards, I have still 3 days...preparing these new brooches for my shop and working hard for enough stuff/ cards/ prints for the pop-up store in Antwerp in wich I will be featured and an exhibition in a coffee bar in Antwerp too in February. Don't think I will have time for vacation...however...I'm looking forward to some relaxing days watching snowflakes and drinking hot chocolate.
This three brooches are the first of a huge family. They are made of Polymer clay, handpainted and 100% unique! Soon in my ETSY-shop!
There are still calendars too for someone who is in search of a nice gift! x

Bought these little birds from lamali.com. They are made in Nepal, out of paper and stiched together. These babes will make my autumn singing all day long in front of the window.LOVE THIS SEASON! You too?

Amigurumi
Here is Oli. He is still growing. I'm following the book of Ana Paula Rimoli to make this Amigurumi. Its the art of crocheting small animals. Just found her little book in the library and I was too curious to bring it back without trying something out of it. Well, once you start you cannot stop...so I does feel it. I'm discovering the art of making them and for sure there are so many ways to go on with these...but thanks to Ana to introduce me to this woven world. Just perfect to do on a bright summerday! I want to try another one after this and then I want to put them together on a plain to my nieces Claudia and Milene in Perú! Hope they will feed them in time, and share all their love with it!;)July 5, 2010

My puppet
Here he is...uuuf had to search very deep into all my archives... I made the puppet, shoes, head, guitar...and the little white costume that Goran Bregovic wears like always on every concert was made by a good friend/neighbour. That teamwork made this wonder...I'm still happy to see this photo...and my fingers are yelling to start again making puppets! :)I will not tell you what I did to bring this picture into the hands of Mr. Bregovic themself! Even Emir Kusturica saw this picture somewhere in Croatia ;)))
