Once there was a boy on the other side of the planet in a country full of colours and mountains.

One day a girl came to him to steal his hearth, she took it with her to a cold and grey country far far away.

She felt so happy with that colourfull heart but then she realised that she couldn't live only with his heart.
The boy felt that it was easy to live without a heart but he couldn't live without that girl! 

He started a big journey.
He would find that girl with her green eyes and big feets.

And then it happened.
They found each other back in a lonely foggy forest!
All that time the girl had carried his heart with her and instead of giving back she would keep it forever and gave her heart into the beautiful hands of the boy with the dark eyes. They were dancing all day long and would love each other till there wouldn't exist autumn anymore...

This day

1/ I woked up with a very strong light in my bedroom. The sky was deepgray on one side and the sun was burning the other side. Somewhere over the rainbow...that was my place this morning. 2/ The postmen ringed once and there he was with a little gift for my sister-in-law...hope she will love this creation made by Fleurfatale. The way of packaging made me feel so happy and let's not forget the jewels inside. Visit Greet's shop FLEURFATALE...and discover a sweet world of beauties. 3/ A shot of productivity in my class this afternoon, working with soapstone...and they loved it! And now back home, time for tea and a soaked biscuit :) Hooooooooray!

Olimpia & Dounia

Remember Olimpia, the cat of my friend Laura in Madrid. Laura wanted her four cats portraited by me as a gift on her wedding for all her family and friends. One year later Dounia, one of the girls from the fotoshoot I did tuesday, see picture down, dreamed of a pillow with the drawing of Olimpia. I designed one for my Envelop-shop, especially for her and everyone who loves this drawing, and so to thank me for all that she made this drawing inspired on my work. I truly LOVE this so much. It's so touching! Her mom started immediately to make a whole lay-out for tea-bags and cookies with her design. See her blogpost about it for more details HERE.
Such a funny and special gift!!! I went crazy for it and I stay crazy I guess! :)

What I wore today

mmmm! After the Etsy Lab I got a new boost forward I guess. If feels very good and I really enjoyed making this 'What I wore today' to upload on the Flickr Group of Gemma Correll.

Some days ago I was featured on the blog of Skorcica, a graphic designer from the green ( as I imagine that country) Slovenia! Colouring for all ages by La Marelle

Do you want to colour again a very nice drawing like you did as a child? Or do you have a little creature that wants to colour one of these four drawings made by French illustrators. A new breeze

By visiting the blog of Karo I found a terrific link to the site of Jonathan Woodward : zero2illo. Every aspiring illustrator or graphic designer can participate in this project to make work of that 'dream' we all have! The challenge started like 8 weeks ago but you can sign-up whenever you want and just start NOW, like I will do! I'm still discovering this place and started on my first week with some very useful tasks. Behind the whole challenge is building up a community of illustrator-souls...and by sharing our experiences we can help eachother closer to being a fulltime illustrator and to make finally work of some very important steps to accomplish before living that dream also Jonathan had since decades. Take a look and sign up...the tasks are just soooo usefull and secure.

The winning week

This magical light arrived to my little house this week after I was one of the winners in a Giveaway of Made in Belgium, a Facebookgroup that is a stage to wonderfull Belgian talents in design, illustration, clothing and many more. This present is a design from Bleu Celeste. An incredible place to buy Japanese paper or little things made of these marvellous prints! Since many time I'm a huge fan of Bleu Celeste and that will not chance, even worser :) I'm sooo happy with this one and if you want, get fan of Made in Belgium and try yourself to win beautiful wonder-things!

Welcome Spring!!!

On the first day of March and so far the first day -after months full of gray days, snow and rain, cold hands and icefeets - with sunshine!!!! And on that day I receive the Sunshine Award from Snezana, a very lovely Serbian blogfriend that lives and works in Italy!
