Me and the elements

Some snaps from last week. Picking fruits in 'my' forest ( Mr. Grashopper was there too!) and walking near the 'Westerschelde', the river that turns see in the south of the Netherlands...enjoying the last days of summervacation.

A cosy apron

La gigante

Remembering last friday when I went to the city-streetact of Royal de Luxe. A french theatre that is used working with giant puppets. They need like 60 humans to move the 'little' girl and her still much bigger uncle. Would be nice if they could live forever close to us. That helps us to see life a little bit different...and they brought people together again! Huge!

Andean dream @ home!

Finally I can show you how the pillows of Envelop.eu look in real life! They are stunning! And I'm not talking of my design, but about the quality of the image and fabric. I'm in love with them and I hope that they can make more people happy in the next winter!

Back after all those party's!

Here I am again after a week without almost any drawing. It was sooo busy. Not only with work to do but even more things to celebrate. 17th of August we went to dinner and remembered our wedding day, already three years ago, the day after I was too lazy...( it's still vacation right here and today we started the LAST week of it! :) On thursday again a workshop in the museum...and on friday I was chasing giants in the city of Antwerp. Saturday again a delicious dinner at home of a cat-friend and sunday of course our big street-party with a workshop for kids in front of my house, a giant BBQ and the premiere of our beer Klaploper. A week full of nice happenings...and now back to zero on monday. Back to my drawingtable...I need it!

That's the way...

...MY way to draw! Remember the photo I made some days ago. These are made with our new Canon EOS 550D, a wonderful thing to play with...but this little took my heart!
The Peruvian socks on my drawing table underneath the warm light...is the best spot in the world for Dalí. We are so happy to have him!

Klaploper, a new Belgian Beer!

As I showed my doodle two days ago I also wanted to share the finished one. I tasted it already and it's soooo delicious but beware...7,5% of alcohol...next sunday will be a drunken day!

Although its a new brewed beer...it will not be for sale outside our street...not yet ;)

Doodling for a beerlabel...a home made beer with honey bottled and brewed by my neighbour, that we will present next week on our street-party...time is running and I go colouring this one!

A new adventure

Before illustrating a music album cover for The Lightning Vishwa Experience I wanted to dig into this new world of music covers. These are some of my most favorites and I thought they were lovely enough to share them with you!
So thrilling to start this new journey!

Dalí on the tablet

After one month 'vacation'...it was again workshop-time today, and I felt tired...:) What vacation can do no? So, this is what came out my tablet-pencil...just played around on it and had some fun :)
My sweet Dalí sleeping on my bag. He is now 2 weeks with us and he took my heart already!

Flash forward

1st of August and I'm drawing this one for the Christmas project where I worked on the last half year. Everything is ready, the press can start running, websites are growing...it's all very whimsical and gives me sooo many positive vibes...and nerves ;)
