He is still somewhere...Mr. Kingfisher. 

And he will live forever after that one second I noticed him in the garden of my parents. 

The original watercolour has a new owner but you can still adopt a kingfisher as napkin or print.

Happy dream number 2012!

Especially made for all of you to wish you a very happy new year and so many good and nice new adventures for 2012. This picture is made on beach 'Paal 17'on the Isle of Texel (The Netherlands) at 11:20 pm on 31th of December with some help of the moon, my little headlight and of course the best photographer in the world :)

Enjoy some snapshots from our last day in 2011, with a magic beginning at breakfast, whimsical houses in Oosterend and a crazy cat, sleepy beaches,  the birth of a calf home where we stayed with Klaas and Riet Tjepkema and an enormous delicious end in Restaurant 'De Luwte' in the little capital of the Isle, Den Burg

Thought it was time to give the place we visit everyday a new look.
The green stayed the same, but the brown-green with branches and flowers made the new view! Now we will spend even more time here then in the other rooms of the house :)? Working on it between the busy days on my academies.

The Wall

Finally started to decorate my blue wall in the living room with all kind of photos, drawings and Peruvian souvenirs...every little thing with his own story...Just a first try...can become much better...but let's give it some time :)

Diary France #4 : Discovering Dinan

Almost on the end of our little journey we thought to have seen everything in that little region of Brittany! The art-festival in St.Malo, Le Mont St. Michel, the windy but sunny beaches, eating huge meringues and too many crêpes, and sleeping in lovely french 'jumpin' beds. Anyway, our guestwoman wanted to now our plans for saturday-evening and she convinced us to go and visit Dinan...some 50 km away from the coast where we would have our last night. What a treasure!!! Walking in little wooden streets with houses that are like living trees...talking to me. :)
This must be the discovery of our mini-escape. If you are close? Don't miss it! Also there they have more then a dozen of crêperies :))) and the crowd of coastal cities is far away here! :)

Perspective

When he can catch a magazine or book about architecture or building cosy houses then he do so, to dream away in the future, to give time a certain perspective...while enjoying some tasty beers on this moment...a sweet one for today made of cherry's.

Before yesterday, when I came home from working...saw a cloud like this above our little house, embracing the moon...very nice feeling it gave me!
